The Role:
As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in collecting, storing, and analysing data to unlock insights and support informed decision-making. You’ll be at the forefront of our tech stack creation, including the likes of Power BI & SQL, working closely with the team to design and implement robust data infrastructure and analytics systems. Your work will directly impact our ability to drive efficiency and improve engineering practices across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing data modelling techniques, identifying ways in which an organisation can operate more effectively and efficiently.
- manage and create presentation and data mining techniques that provide quality management information in dashboard format.
- Understanding business objectives by communicating with the (SMT) Senior Management team to present findings and analysis and understand business objectives.
- formulate and Identify ways for businesses to improve, based on research, a deep understanding of the business model, and knowledge of the data and business processes associated with collecting that data.
- communicate with internal and external stakeholders to persuade them of the benefits of new technology or strategies.
- oversee the implementation of new technology and systems.
- explore the risks, benefits, and impacts of different solutions.
- Keeping the orginisations leaders updated with progress by proposing solutions proposing solutions.
- Outline the proposed changes by creating documents to present the steps involved.
- Overseeing the implementation of new technology or a new approach – ensuring the changes are made.
- Overseeing the training and support for people affected by new systems and processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in MS 365 & Power BI as a pre-requisite
- Strong Commercial Awareness
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills across all levels of the business
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Organisational skills & time management skills.
