Are you an Electrical Fitter / Wireperson with an interest in robotics and automation? Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, my client is looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter / Wireperson to join their highly skilled team. They are an industry leading engineering company that manufactures state-of-the-art machinery for customers such as BAE Systems, Rolls Royce, Airbus, Fokker and many more.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling / wiring automated and robotic machinery within a workshop environment. Following training, you will have the opportunity to support machine installations and commissioning at customer sites, gaining experience in some of the most high profile manufacturing sites in the world. That being said, 90% of your time will be based in the workshop in Aldershot and travel will be limited to very rare occurrences.

The Role:
*Electrical assembly / wiring of bespoke machinery – workshop based (90%)
*Installation and commissioning of machinery at customer sites – UK and Worldwide Travel (10%)
*Panel wiring, cable assembly, machine wiring, soldering and crimping
*Plenty of overtime available to increase earnings
The Person:
*Background in electrical fitting, electrical assembly or panel wiring
*Looking for a varied and interesting role, offering lots of training and progression
*Able to read and interpret wiring schedules and circuit diagrams
*Lives a commutable distance from Aldershot
