Lean CI Engineer – 12 Month FTC

Are you a Lean focused Kaizen enthusiast who wants to play a key critical role in taking a forward-thinking manufacturer through to become a world-class operation?
This is the rare chance to have an autonomous function for an international manufacturer offering progression, development and technically interesting work. This is a 12 Month FTC to help on a critical project, where the role has the potential to go permanent.
The company are a global manufacturing group that produces material for other manufacturers. A Lean focus is already implemented within management so your input, ideas and expertise will be greeted rather than challenged. This gives you “a lean playground” for you to put your stamp on things.
The role involves instigating critical improvement projects with the goal of maximizing profit. You will eliminate waste from the production process, optimise workflows and introduce and standardise visual management layouts. Part of your role will be working with the process engineering team to provide guidance on 5S and Kaizen.
