Senior Technical Manager – Progression to Technical Director
Walsall
£50,000 – £70,000 + Bonus + Wellbeing Package + 33 days Holiday + Pension
Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 4:30 / 8:00 – 1:00 Friday (37 hour week)
Do you have a strong Electrical engineering background? Are you looking for a role with progression to director level, where you will have the autonomy to carve out your own role and be instrumental in the growth of the business?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, leading international manufacturing company as a Technical Manager, with the view to becoming the Technical Director within 18 months.
The company have a fantastic reputation and manufacture bespoke products to a global customer base within the railway, construction, medical, military, power industries and much more, and due to expansion, they are looking for a technical manager to lead and develop their engineering team.

ou will be responsible for managing and supporting the engineering team, with a key focus on driving growth and increasing market share through excellent product quality. You will provide technical support, design and develop custom engineering solutions ensuring all new products are reviewed, costed and designed for manufacture. You will advise key areas for improvement, including key goals and objectives for the future of the business with the purpose of ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people management skills and a technical electrical engineering background to join a leading manufacturing company with a view to progress to director level in the near future.
The Role:

The Candidate:
* Technical Electrical engineering background
* HNC or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* Knowledge of Electromechanical Design and Quality processes
* Energetic, Driven with a vision and drive to introduce new technologies
