What will they Train me on?
What will they Train me on?
When you go to a job interview, do you think to yourself; what will they train me on? And how do they train?
In the short space of time since being at Revorec, I have had the chance to learn new skills I genuinely didn’t think I’d be in that position to learn. I was hungry to see what they will train me on? I originally joined Revorec as an Administrator. However I have been taught how their recruiting and whole business process works. Add to this general administrative tasks, how to navigate excel properly (which I have never done before!), and a hell of a lot of marketing!
Day to Day variety training
I have always been interested in marketing. And I love creating different kinds of posters and fiddling about with the different images to see what would best suit our company brand. I then see how to use that effectively.
I struggled at first, with what subject to post about, what to actually write, and what picture edits to use, as I wasn’t too sure what our values and target goals were.
As soon as I communicated this to management, the next morning we had a full sit-down informal meeting – ready to explain different ways to effectively attract candidates, attract clients, and how to market ourselves in different ways. In this meeting they covered everything, how to edit pictures & videos, what news pages to search, who to target + why, how to construct a post for each target audience.
Knowledge is key – What will they train me on?
The information I received was different from what I had expected. Development is taken very seriously. It is at Revorec anyway. At Revorec this was much improved. Full training has been provided from the off.
And that was just a snippet, I am still due to learn so many more things. To expand my knowledge in different areas where I would never have the chance to do so before.
What the future holds
In the next few years I’m striving to become the Office Manager. I want to be able to work my way up the ladder with this amazing company. I hope this will become knowledge I can pass down onto future colleagues and help them grow their future also.
